They say happiness is a choice. I used to agree with them. but now it is a necessity! Something you willfully have to bring to happen, Everyone knows that living in Nigeria is a herculean task from the struggle of trying to live a decent life to dealing with the wild things the economy throws at you, is there going to be a light at the end of the tunnel?

Well, staying in a depressed economy does not have to take its toll on you  Here are a few tips to ensure happiness does not elude you:

Pay Attention To Nature.

Don’t think about the economy, just go to the beach, Lay down and order a Pina colada!

Don’t go anywhere if you don’t have to.

Because of traffic! Why would you want to put yourself through that intentionally, Stay in ya house! 

Prioritize sleep.

Peace of mind is the ultimate stress reliever. Let’s be honest, between getting up early for work and returning late, you most likely don’t get enough sleep. So when you stay home because you don’t have to go anywhere, catch up on sleep.

Mind your business.

A lot of people spend time on social media ranting endlessly, there is only little you can do from the outside you know? Transfer that energy into something you can directly impact.

Spend time with friends.

Spend time with friends, yes! those crazy friends that bring out that element in you. A good company can never be overemphasized

To-do lists are a source of stress for some, Rather prioritize your task, as you do remember to include time for your relaxation. Remember you can’t do everything at once.

Eat good food.

Food is an absolute source of Joy! Eating your favorite is one of the best things that can happen to you, whether you want to cook or order, Eat good food.
